Affordable rental units have 3.8% vacancy rate
The vacancy rate for rental units termed affordable in the Denver metro area was 3.8 percent in the third quarter, according to the inaugural report on government-subsidized rental units. Statewide, the vacancy rate was 4.7 percent. The highest vacancy rates were in Loveland and Colorado Springs, at 8.2 percent and 8 percent, respectively. Arapahoe County had the lowest vacancy rate at 1.3 percent.
