New luxury developments continue at Breckenridge Ski Resort. Pricing of new condos is approaching the $1,500 per sq. ft. level.

Peak 6- Plans for a new lift and 450 acres of new terrain are formally on the table. About six trails totaling 67 acres would be clear-cut below timberline. An additional 285 acres including intermediate, advanced-intermediate and expert skiing terrain would be above timberline and lift served. Breckenridge Ski Resort also proposes to construct a top terminal ski patrol and warming hut and a bottom terminal food and beverage facility.
Peak 7- Construction of the sold-out Crystal Peak Lodge and Grand Lodge continues. The relocation of Ski Hill Road from its present location, down to the new Peak 7 base area is expected to occur this summer. The 17.22 acre ski-in estate site ‘Pristine Villaggio’ is available with an asking price of $5.4 million. Based on current pricing at condo developments, one lucky owner could own either 8,000 sq. ft of condo space or ‘Pristine Villaggio’ with its 750,000 sq. ft. of land, and construct a 10,000 sq. ft. luxury residence for the same price!
Peak 8- One Ski Hill Place, a 90 unit development at the base of Peak 8 is the newest luxury offering by Vail Resorts. Prices range from $963 to $1,385 per square foot. Construction is scheduled to begin in May, pending pre-sales, and due for completion for the 2009-2010 ski season.
Shock Hill- The Shock Hill Lodge & Spa, will be located at the midway station of the new BreckConnect Gondola. The most expensive condominium in Breckenridge (pre-sale- under contract) of $3.8 million will have views of Pristine Villaggio and the Breckenridge Ski Resort. The project consists of 100 units being released in six phases.
